Onze Approach

Vijf afspraken tussen u en Orange Nile

Orange Nile has a legal entity in the Netherlands and in Kenya. Orange Nile Netherlands is the contracting party for our Dutch and European clients. In our agreements, in addition to the scope of work, the following matters are clearly defined.

  1. Pricing
  2. Intellectual Property: Kenya is a member of the World Intellectual Property Organisation and the World Trade Organization. Kenya has signed the TRIPS Agreement and several other important international and regional treaties on intellectual property.
  3. Data Protection: The Kenyan law for data protection came into effect in 2019. The law follows the path taken by the European Union with the GDPR in May 2018 and makes Kenya the third country in East Africa to have legislation on data protection.
  4. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
  5. Working conditions of colleagues in Africa.

The above five components of the agreement between the client and Orange Nile are back-to-back secured in agreements from Dutch clients through Orange Nile Netherlands to Orange Nile Kenya and ultimately to our Orange Nile Kenyan colleagues.

De Nederlandse manier van werken

Team Orange Nile Kenya is an independent entity with Kenyan management. Trained in the Dutch way of working and interacting, this applies to project management, making agreements, and the communication style. As a result, they quickly become part of your customer or development team in the Netherlands.
